Shipping

We do not ship our bamboos through the mail or UPS, but we do deliver them ourselves.  You are always welcome to visit us, pick them out, and take them home yourself.

Plant Warranty

We give a 3 month warranty on all our stock planted and cared for according to our directions.  This includes watering and staking.  We do not guarantee bamboos left in pots, surrounded by barriers, or planted indoors.
Planting Instructions:
Plant so that top of root ball is at same level as surrounding soil.  Do not cover with more than 1 inch of mulch.  Water well and keep moist during summer dry season.  It's a good idea to support bamboos over 15-20 feet tall.
See here for full description of planting

Bamboo Barrier Issues

Barriers are ineffective.  When they "work" they stunt the bamboo and choke it's root system.  When they "don't work"  the bamboo gets out.  This happens frequently, generally within 10 years, sometimes as little as two years.  We generally recommend that you do not use barriers.  Effective control is rhizome pruning/root pruning maintenance.  Twice a year is best, once a year is adequate.
